چکیده

Cancer treatments can often adversely affect the quality of life young women. One most relevant negative impacts is loss fertility. Cyclophosphamide one detrimental chemotherapeutic drugs for ovary. may induce destruction dormant follicles while promoting follicle activation and growth. Herein, we demonstrate in vivo protective effect allosteric Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitor Asciminib on signaling pathways activated by cyclophosphamide mouse ovaries. We also provide evidence that does not interfere with cytotoxic Michigan Foundation (MCF)7 breast cancer cells. Our data indicate concomitant administration mitigates cyclophosphamide-induced ovarian reserve without affecting anticancer potential cyclophosphamide. Taken together, these observations are development effective ferto-protective adjuvants to preserve from damaging effects therapies.

P-226: American Ginseng Effects on Damage Induced by Cyclophosphamide in The Nuclei of Rat Sperm

Background: Oxidative stress occurs when the oxidative homeostasis is damage. Excessive ROS are generated and this reaction has been proposed to produce marked damage to the structure and function of sperm. Materials and Methods: This study was designed to investigate the protective effects of of American Ginseng against cyclophosphamide - induced damage in the rat sperm. For this experiment, t...

Extra Virgin olive oil mitigates hematotoxicity induced by acrylamide and oxidative damage in adult rats

Acrylamide (ACR) is a dietary contaminant derived from a wide range of foods through the Maillard-reaction during the cooking process. The present study focused on the hematotoxic effects of ACR and the protective efficacy of Extra Virgin olive oil (EVOO) in alleviating hematotoxicity and oxidative stress in erythrocytes of adult rats. Rats were divided into four groups of six each: group 1, se...

Ethyl Pyruvate Ameliorates The Damage Induced by Cyclophosphamide on Adult Mice Testes

Objective Cyclophosphamide (CP) is a chemotherapy drug which causes deleterious effects on testicular tissue and increases free radicals in the body. The aim of this study is to investigate the protective effects of ethyl pyruvate (EP) on testicular improvement in CP treated animals. MaterialsAndMethods In this experimental study, 15 male mice (6-8 weeks) were divided into 3 groups. The control...

Heat Stress-Induced DNA Damage

Although the heat-stress response has been extensively studied for decades, very little is known about its effects on nucleic acids and nucleic acid-associated processes. This is due to the fact that the research has focused on the study of heat shock proteins and factors (HSPs and HSFs), their involvement in the regulation of transcription, protein homeostasis, etc. Recently, there has been so...

Effects of Tribulus Terrestris extract and Vitamin C on changes induced by cyclophosphamide in the rat ovary

Introduction: Cyclophosphamide (CYP) is an alkylating agent, which is used in different diseases. It has several important side effects on ovaries. Tribulus terrestris extract (TTE) has different steroidal saponins and has been used for a long time as an aphrodisiac. The aim of this study was to evaluate the protective effects of TTE on the toxicity of CYP in the ovary of rats. Methods: For...
